Love Trees manages a powerful children’s educational tree planting program and is also a member of the United Nations Environment Programme’s (UNEP) Billion Tree Campaign.

Love Trees donates trees to kids through schools so kids can have a Wish Tree of their own to plant. When they plant their tree either with their family at home or as part of a school or camp environmental project they get to make a wish for the planet. They’re also learning that they have the power to help make the world a better place.

“Kids are the future stewards of the environment. They’re concerned about the state of the planet and they’re eager to help,” said executive director Andrea Koehle Jones. “Love Trees is one of the few organizations that focuses on kid’s and environmental education. We teach kids they have the power to effect positive change and help make the world a better place!”

Take a Stand — support kids and the planet:

1.) Have a tree planted in honour of your friends, family and clients. Love Trees offers customized Children’s Wish Tree certificates. $10 for trees planted in North America / $15 for trees planted in Africa. Trees are donated to children at schools in the region you select and you receive a custom e-certificate to keep or give as a gift. Coming soon.

2.) Share your Wish for the Planet on Twitter, your blog, Flickr, Facebook, YouTube, or blip.fm. Include the #love_trees tag and a link to LoveTrees.ca so we can share your wish for the planet with the world!

3.) Partner with Love Trees.
