At Love Trees we like to see the world as it can be ~ we are taking action right now by planting trees around the world and helping teachers to educate the future stewards of the environment.
Love Trees has already planted thousands of trees and wishes by giving kids the skills to change the world. Since 2006 we have given school children from inner city schools in New York and Nairobi, to students in pine-beetle infested regions of Northern British Columbia to students in post-Hurricane Katrina Lafayette, Louisiana and many places in between a Wish Tree of their own to plant, watch grow and learn that even kids have GREEN POWER – the power to make the world a better place.
Next Projects:
- trees around schools in Haiti and trees for inner city kids in Camden, New Jersey.
Recent Projects:
- We’re now up to 3,000 fruit and indigenous trees for children in Zambia. (September 2010)
- 950 trees planted by students at Martin Collegiate in Regina, Saskatchewan.

- This summer, The ChariTREE Foundation (the charity branch of Love Trees) has partnered with The Canadian Camping Association to plant almost 10,000 trees across Canada. Kids at 47 summer camps will have the opportunity to plant a Wish Tree, make a wish for the planet and return each summer to see how their tree has grown thanks to the generosity of ChariTREE donors.
- 1,500 Moringa, Leucaena, Jatropha and an assortment of fruit and indigenous trees will be planted in Petauke District, Eastern Province, Zambia. They will be given to the children from the surrounding area to take home and be planted around their villages. The children will be given instruction on planting, watering, animal protection and most importantly why they should be planting trees.
